History (Activities)

We have adopted a constitution and have submitted it to national AWIS in order to affiliate with the national organization
We have had some exciting speakers and guests at our meetings, including

Astronaut Kathryn Sullivan (the first woman to walk in space)
Dr. Cinda-Sue Davis (associated with the Center for the Education of Women and Women in Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan)

We took a trip to MSU for Science, Engineering, and Technology Day in 1999:  See pictures from our trip here (under construction)
